What is the free trial?+

The free trial is a fully functional version of ENGCUT with a 3-day license. Download, install, and run real projects — no credit card required.

Does ENGCUT work without internet?+

Yes. The optimization engine runs fully offline. License validation uses a 7-day grace period — ENGCUT keeps working even when you’re without internet for up to a week.

What materials does it support?+

ENGCUT handles any linear material: lumber, steel bars, aluminum profiles, pipes, cables, and more. As long as you’re cutting from standard-length bars or stock, it works.

Can I use both metric and imperial units?+

Yes. Professional and Enterprise plans include certified metric (m/cm) and imperial (ft, in, decimal inches) support. The stock database stores whichever system you use.

How is the license tied to my machine?+

Each license is fingerprinted to specific machines. Basic covers 1 machine, Professional covers 3. To move a license to a new machine, deactivate the old one first.

What format are the reports?+

All 6 reports are standard Excel (.xlsx) files, pre-formatted with your project language (PT/ES/EN). They open in Excel, LibreOffice, or Google Sheets.
